Our mission is to support the growth of small businesses, entrepreneurs, and nonprofit organizations addressing social, economic, and environmental issues in underserved communities.


We aim to be a trusted partner to organizations servicing Massachusetts. We strive to play an active role in understanding the entrepreneurs we work with and their challenges as they grow their business.

Our goal is to serve communities of color by providing technical assistance to promote entrepreneurship and innovation which lead to wealth creation and more sustainable communities.

Kerry Bowie

Managing Partner
Kerry holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in environmental engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the University of Michigan, respectively, as well as an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Maribel Mendoza

Operating Partner
Maribel earned a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and an MBA from Southern Methodist University (SMU).

Chris Johns

Chris holds a master’s degree in Architecture and an Urban Design Certificate from MIT, a bachelor’s degree and graduate studies in Building Construction Management from the University of Florida, and an associate’s degree from St. Petersburg College.
